The programme offers nationally recognised leadership qualifications at four levels, middle, senior, aspiring head teacher and executive leadership. The approach is a blend of face to face, workplace and online learning to maximise accessibility.
These programmes are delivered through the Worcestershire Global Leadership Academy, a partnership between Babcock Education and the Worcestershire Teaching Schools. They are set up to support you to lead a team, develop leadership skills across a school, enhance your strategic management capabilities, improve the quality of educational provision and managing resources to achieve your leadership goals.
It is widely recognised that effective leadership creates the right conditions for all pupils to achieve. These new qualifications will secure better outcomes for all learners, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds.
These qualifications relate to leadership at different levels, and they are broken down into Middle Leadership, Senior Leadership, Headship and Executive Leadership. They are designed to be a clear pathway of progression through to Executive Leadership, helping to grow individuals and support school improvement.
The Middle Leadership, Senior Leadership, Headship qualifications are delivered in the West Midlands and the Executive Leadership qualifications are delivered nationally. Funding may be available for leaders working in areas of high deprivation, please enquire for more information.
