Careers Advice and Guidance

Careers Advice Team

Our Careers Advice and Guidance Service is a free support service providing impartial careers information, advice and guidance to young people age 16 to 18 Not in Education, Employment or Training (NEET).

This service is also available to young people in years 10 and 11 who are home educated and registered with the Elective Home Education Service.

We offer a traded service to schools, academies, colleges and training providers to help them ensure they provide the best careers information, advice and guidance for their learners to ensure they achieve positive outcomes.

We have highly qualified Careers Advisers experienced in working with young people to help them make informed decisions, ensure they are aware of all options and potential career paths as well as providing information and advice on current employment, training and education opportunities.
Our primary aims is to ensure that young people have a better understanding of their options, in order to keep them engaged and increase the likelihood of moving on successfully – standards which Ofsted inspect.
